Four commitments
A camera should not become a surveillance service.
No employee access
Our team cannot browse your camera roll or remotely open media stored on your glasses or phone.
No AI training
We do not use your private photos or videos to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
No silent upload
Media leaves your device only when you explicitly choose to share it or use a connected service.
The precise scope
Media is one thing. Service data is another.
This pledge is about the photos and videos you capture. Some optional or necessary product functions may still use a network, and we want that boundary to be plain.
Information used to operate the service
Account details, security events, device identifiers, purchase information, and limited diagnostics may be processed when needed to provide accounts, updates, support, safety, and reliable service.
Support you explicitly request
If you choose to send a file to support, it can be accessed for that request. We use it only to provide the help you asked for and handle it under our Privacy Policy.
Sharing, livestreaming, and integrations
When you deliberately publish, livestream, back up, or send media through another service, that service may process the media under its own settings and terms. 8ight does not make that choice for you.
Privacy around you
Clear capture. Responsible use.
Local control protects the person wearing 8ight Pro. Respectful capture also protects everyone in view. Follow local laws, pay attention to recording indicators, and ask before recording where people expect privacy.
