Story first. Technology in service of it.

Cinema-Tik supports independent filmmakers and short-series teams with a project worth bringing into the world. It is not a volume creator campaign or a public sponsorship marketplace.

Selected projects may receive funding, 8ight equipment, or a compensated brand partnership when that support serves the work naturally.

Not every selected project receives every form of support. The complete arrangement is agreed in writing before work begins.

How 8ight may support a selected project.

01

Funding

A project grant or production contribution can be part of selected support. The amount and payment terms are defined per project.

02

Equipment

8ight hardware may be loaned or provided when it has a real role in the production, the story, or the release.

03

Paid partnership

Compensated brand participation may be agreed when it protects the film's voice and represents 8ight credibly.

What earns our attention.

We consider the project, the filmmaker's point of view, and whether 8ight has a credible place in the work or its making.

The project

A film with a reason to exist.

Independent shorts and concise series with a clear premise, an achievable production shape, and an audience beyond the product itself.

A considered path to production.

There is no automatic approval or fixed public timeline. We review each project in context and define the relationship before production begins.

  1. 01

    Present

Share the logline, treatment, key team, project stage, intended format, and the role you imagine for 8ight.

  2. 02

    Review

We consider the work, team, scope, creative fit, production readiness, and available program capacity.

  3. 03

    Agree

If selected, both sides confirm support, compensation, rights, credits, deliverables, safety, and timing in writing.

  4. 04

    Produce

The filmmaker makes the work against the agreed production plan, with clear contacts and review points where needed.

The agreement comes before the camera rolls.

A grant should make the work clearer, not the relationship murkier. Every selected project receives written terms covering the support, the creative relationship, and what each side may use or say.

  • Creative and rightsOwnership, credits, licenses, approvals, and brand usage.
  • Support and compensationFunding, equipment, expenses, fees, and payment timing.
  • ProductionSchedule, deliverables, confidentiality, safety, and responsible capture.

Before you present.

The essentials for filmmakers, producers, and representatives considering Cinema-Tik.

Who may present a project?

Independent directors, producers, short-series teams, and their representatives may introduce a project. Selection remains at 8ight's discretion and an introduction does not guarantee funding, equipment, or participation.

What formats can be considered?

Independent short films and concise episodic series may be considered, including fiction, documentary, or hybrid work. Any round-specific eligibility, territory, or production requirements will be explained before a formal agreement.

Do I need a large audience?

No public follower threshold is used. The project, craft, production readiness, and credible fit with 8ight matter more than audience size alone.

What does 8ight receive from a selected project?

Only what is agreed in writing. Depending on the project, that may include a credit, documented product use, behind-the-scenes material, limited promotional usage, or public association with the program. No rights or deliverables are assumed from a submission.

Is Cinema-Tik always open?

Program capacity and review timing may change. A contact submission is an introduction, not a guarantee of an active grant round or a response by a fixed date.

Pitch the story, not your following.

Share a concise logline, short treatment, key team, project stage, intended format, and why 8ight belongs in the process or the story.
