Website terms
These Terms of Service explain how you may use the 8ight website, launch pages, waitlist forms, support pages, and related online content. They are prepared for launch readiness and should be reviewed before checkout, pre-orders, or the Kickstarter campaign go live.
Using this website
You may use this website to learn about 8ight, 8ight Pro, 8ight Studio, our accessories, creator programs, and our launch plans. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security, scrape content at scale, or use the website in a way that disrupts service for others.
Product information
Product descriptions, specifications, images, package contents, launch timing, and availability may change as engineering, testing, certification, manufacturing, and campaign preparation continue. We aim to keep public claims accurate, conservative, and clear.
Waitlist, pre-orders, and Kickstarter
Joining the waitlist does not place an order, reserve a unit, or require payment. Initial pre-order activity is expected to happen through Kickstarter. Any pledge, reward, payment, cancellation, refund, delivery estimate, or campaign-specific commitment should be governed by the final Kickstarter campaign page and applicable Kickstarter terms.
Direct checkout
The current prelaunch website is not intended to support direct checkout for 8ight Pro. If direct pre-orders or purchases are added later, the applicable checkout terms, payment terms, refund terms, and shipping terms should be published before purchase opens.
Intellectual property
8ight names, logos, product designs, website copy, images, videos, page layouts, and other materials belong to 8ight or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reuse them without permission, except as allowed by law.
User submissions
If you submit a message, application, story, partnership request, or other material through the website, you are responsible for the information you provide. Do not submit confidential information unless a separate written agreement applies.
Third-party services
The website may link to or rely on third-party services such as Shopify, Kickstarter, analytics tools, email systems, social platforms, or payment and fulfillment providers. Those services may have their own terms and policies.
