Expected framework / Not final
Expected coverage
The final commercial warranty is expected to cover eligible defects in materials or workmanship during the stated period, while the product is used normally and under published instructions.
Possible exclusions
Possible exclusions may include accidental damage, loss or theft, misuse, unauthorized modification or repair, non-functional cosmetic wear, use outside published limits, or altered identifiers.
Any 8ight commercial warranty is additional to rights provided by applicable consumer law. Nothing on this page excludes, restricts, or replaces a legal guarantee, implied warranty, or statutory remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.
If this page, a written warranty, or another 8ight policy conflicts with mandatory law, the mandatory law controls.
The final commercial warranty is expected to cover eligible defects in materials or workmanship that arise during the stated warranty period while 8ight Pro and included hardware are used normally and in accordance with published instructions.
Coverage, duration, included components, battery treatment, lens treatment, and region-specific service options are not final until they appear in the written warranty made available before purchase.
Subject to mandatory law, a commercial warranty may exclude accidental damage, loss or theft, misuse, unauthorized modification or repair, cosmetic wear that does not affect function, damage from use outside published environmental limits, and products with altered or unreadable identifiers.
An exclusion will never be applied to remove a remedy that applicable consumer law requires.
The final written warranty will state when commercial coverage begins, how long it lasts, and whether proof of purchase or delivery is used to establish the date. Campaign rewards, direct pre-orders, retail purchases, replacements, and repaired products may have different documentation.
8ight may reasonably inspect, test, or troubleshoot the product to understand the issue. Depending on the written warranty and applicable law, the outcome may include technical assistance, repair, replacement, price reduction, refund, or another required remedy.
Where consumer law gives you a choice of remedy or requires a remedy within a particular period, those rights remain unaffected.
The final warranty will explain authorized shipping, packaging, geographic service availability, and who pays eligible service costs. For a valid legal-guarantee or warranty claim, 8ight will cover costs where required by applicable law or the written warranty.
Customers should not send products without authorization. Unapproved shipments can delay service and may not reach the correct service location.
Service may require troubleshooting, software updates, reset, or replacement. Before sending a device, back up and remove personal captures where the product allows. Service instructions will explain any required account steps and how device data is handled.
Personal information used for a warranty request is handled under the Privacy Policy.
Service methods can vary by purchase region because of product certification, shipping restrictions, parts availability, and local law. The checkout and written warranty will identify supported sales regions and any material service limitations before purchase.
Regional service limits do not remove mandatory rights against the seller or other rights available under local consumer law.
Start with 8ight support. If the first response does not resolve the issue, ask for the warranty case to be reviewed. You may also have access to a consumer authority, dispute-resolution body, court, or other remedy in your jurisdiction.
Regional rights guide
The commercial warranty sits beside local consumer law. This overview is not a substitute for the law or the final purchase terms.
EU / EEA
EU consumers generally receive a minimum two-year legal guarantee from delivery for goods that are faulty or not as advertised. The seller is responsible for providing a remedy, normally repair or replacement first, with price reduction or refund available in qualifying circumstances. Some countries provide longer protection.
Official EU guidanceUnited Kingdom
UK consumer rights apply independently of a manufacturer warranty. Depending on the issue and timing, statutory remedies can include rejection, repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund. 8ight will not present a commercial warranty as replacing those rights.
Official UK guidanceUnited States
The final written warranty will be available before purchase and will state its coverage, duration, claim process, exclusions, and remedies. Federal warranty rules and state-law implied warranties may apply. Rights can vary by state, and the final terms will include any legally required state notices.
FTC warranty guidanceCanada
Consumer rights, implied warranties, and available remedies vary by province or territory. Quebec consumers may also benefit from the legal warranty under provincial law. The commercial warranty will not limit protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
Government of Canada guidanceAustralia & New Zealand
In Australia, consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law operate independently of any written warranty. In New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act may provide repair, replacement, refund, or other remedies. Mandatory guarantees cannot be removed by the commercial warranty.
Other regions
Warranty and consumer-protection rules differ by country. Before paid orders open in a market, 8ight will review the warranty statement, selling entity, service process, and required local disclosures for that destination. Contact support if you need the terms for a specific purchase region.

Not necessarily. Statutory consumer rights can differ from and sometimes extend beyond a commercial warranty. Your rights depend on the law that applies to your purchase and the facts of the issue.
